Overview: Maggie took on a renovation project of a youth room that had been neglected for many year. The project included sorting things stored, cleaning and painting, then furnishing the space.

In Reflection: While this was a very physical project grounded in a specific space with clear tasks, Maggie held onto the spiritual aspect of the work. She says, "my faith is always in the center of what I do and it shines through me as a leader by being an image of God in everything I do." I hope to keep trying to be a voice in my community and a difference maker.

More Details: The project began with Maggie casting a vision for the space and what it could become. She entered into conversation with the congregation's Administrative Council who helped focus the project in a space that did not need additional repairs. Lots of piles had to be sorted, relocated or thrown a way. Now, youth are able to gather in a space that is inviting and comfortable for them.
